WebNote+ for Safari and Chrome

Effective July 16, 2026.

Summary

WebNote+ does not collect, track, sell, transmit, or share personal data. It has no account, analytics, advertising, cloud service, or external network service.

Data Stored On Your Device

WebNote+ stores note text, formatting, note color, note position, creation and modification dates, and the exact webpage URL associated with each note. The Safari version stores this data in Safari extension storage and WebNote+'s local shared container on your Mac. The Chrome version stores it in Chrome extension storage on your device.

Website Access

Safari and Chrome website access lets WebNote+ display its isolated note interface and identify the exact URL where you created a note. WebNote+ does not inspect or store webpage content, form contents, passwords, cookies, or browsing history. Your browser controls website permissions and lets you revoke them at any time.

Exports And Deletion

Text is written outside WebNote+ only when you choose Export and select a destination. You can delete one note or every note on the current exact page. Additional deletion controls may be available in the WebNote+ manager or extension settings for your browser.
