WebNote+ Support
Enable WebNote+ In Safari
- Open the WebNote+ app.
- Choose Open Safari Settings.
- Enable WebNote+ under Extensions. Safari adds WebNote+'s button to the toolbar automatically.
- Allow access to websites when Safari asks.
- On a normal webpage, open WebNote+'s toolbar menu and choose New Note.
If you previously removed the button, choose View > Customize Toolbar in Safari and drag WebNote+ back to the toolbar. Safari controls toolbar customization, so WebNote+ cannot override a button the user removed.
Enable WebNote+ In Chrome
- Install and enable WebNote+ in Chrome.
- Open Chrome's Extensions menu.
- Pin WebNote+ so its button stays in the toolbar.
- On a normal webpage, open WebNote+'s toolbar menu and choose New Note.
Protected Pages
Safari and Chrome do not permit extensions to run on browser settings, start or new-tab pages, extension stores, or some protected internal pages.
Privacy And Deletion
Notes stay locally on your device. Use Clear Page Notes from WebNote+'s toolbar menu to remove notes from the current exact page. Safari users can remove all website notes from the WebNote+ manager. Read the Privacy Policy.
